4. What is MetaMask?

MetaMask is a free, secure Web3 software wallet available as a browser extension (Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Edge) and mobile app (iOS, Android).

It stores your private keys locally on your device and acts as your personal gateway to interact with decentralized applications (dApps) like PR3DICT.

5. How to Download & Set Up MetaMask

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to metamask.io. Always make sure you are on the official domain to avoid phishing sites.
  2. Install the Extension / App: Click "Download" and add the MetaMask extension to your browser (or install the app on your phone).
  3. Create a New Wallet: Click "Create a new wallet" and create a strong password for your local device.
  4. Write Down Your Secret Recovery Phrase: You will be shown a 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase. Write this phrase down on paper and store it in a safe place. Never share these 12 words with anyone!

6. How to Connect MetaMask to PR3DICT

  1. Open the PR3DICT Website: Navigate to the main site.
  2. Click "Connect Wallet": Locate the golden "Connect Wallet" button on the right sidebar or top header.
  3. Approve Connection: A MetaMask popup window will ask for permission to view your wallet address. Confirm the connection.
  4. Switch to BNB Smart Chain: If your wallet is on another network, MetaMask will prompt you to switch to the BNB Smart Chain (Chain ID: 56).

7. How to Get BNB (Gas Fees & Operations)

Every transaction on the BNB Smart Chain (such as sending tokens, claiming drops, or buying PR3D) requires a tiny amount of BNB to pay network validator fees (known as gas fees).

Usually, having $5 to $10 worth of BNB in your wallet is more than enough for dozens of transactions!

  1. Buy BNB on an Exchange: You can purchase BNB on major exchanges such as Binance, Bybit, KuCoin, or directly inside MetaMask using a credit/debit card.
  2. Withdraw BNB to your MetaMask: Copy your MetaMask address (which starts with 0x...) and withdraw your BNB choosing the BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain) network.
  3. Ready to Interact: Once BNB arrives in your wallet, you are ready to claim drops or swap for PR3D!

8. Essential Safety Rules for Beginners

  • Never type your seed phrase into any website. Real Web3 dApps will only ask you to connect your wallet, never to type your 12 recovery words.
  • Beware of fake DMs. Admin or support team members will NEVER message you first on Telegram, Twitter, or Discord.
